Glass mirrors, windows, light globes and drinking glasses should be placed in the Landfill Red-lid bin. These items have different melting properties to bottles and jars. They cannot be processed with recyclable glass bottles and jars as they weaken the final product.
Broken glass should also be placed in the Landfill Red-lid bin.
